Keira Knightley

Knightley was born in London as she was the child of Will Knightley and Sharman Mcdonald. Her first agent at the age of six years old. At that age, she started working in television and commercials. In 1999, she played Sabe for the role of Sabe Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. After becoming famous in the fantasy series Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003 as Elizabeth Swann (a swashbuckling footballer) it was possible for her to debut as a character in the film sports Bend It Like Beckham in which she played the tomboy. In 2003, she was a star in the romance comedy Love Actually and was called an exciting teenager. As the character she played, Elizabeth Bennet in the period romance Pride & Prejudice (2005), Knightley was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Knightley was a part of a variety of more period pieces, playing a complex love passion at the end of Atonement (2007) also a tastemaker Georgiana Cavendish on The Duchess (2008), and as the socialite who plays her of Anna Karenina (2012). She also appeared in contemporary dramas as an uninitiated music student for Begin Again (2012) and an aspiring medical doctor for the role of a physician in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013). Knightley made a return to the world of historical film in the role of Joan Clarke in The Imitation Game (2014) and earned her an award nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress she also acted as the eponymous writer in Colette (2018).
